A batch of cream, freshly whipped, beside a bowl of rose petals in Jigisha's kitchen

Our Story

Re3U didn't begin with a business plan.

It began with a problem I couldn't solve with modern skincare — and a decision to go back to basics.

Where it began

When my daughter developed a severe skin condition, like any parent, I searched for answers wherever I could.

We tried everything — premium skincare, multi-step routines, medicated formulations. Some helped briefly. Others left her skin even more sensitive.

What stayed with me wasn't simply that the products didn't work. It was how complicated skincare had become.

A different approach

Instead of searching for another miracle product, I started searching for a different approach. I went back to simple botanical ingredients — trusted for generations, not because they promised overnight transformation, but because they supported the skin gently and consistently.

My kitchen became a place of learning, testing and refining. Before anything went into a batch, I asked three questions:

  • 01

Will this truly nourish the skin?

  • 02

    Will it help restore balance?

  • 03

Is it gentle enough for everyday use?

Over time, her skin became calmer and healthier.

No miracle. Just balance, restored gently.

Then people started asking

Friends and family began asking what I was using. They wanted small batches for themselves too.

I hadn't planned for any of this. But those conversations made me realise something: perhaps I wasn't the only person who felt overwhelmed by modern skincare.

That became the beginning of Re3U.

When skincare became too complicated

Somewhere along the way, we confused more with better

It's easy to believe healthier skin comes from doing more — more products, more actives, more complicated routines. Yet I kept meeting people with disrupted barriers, increased sensitivity and irritation from trying to fix every concern with another product.

What if healthy skin doesn't need more? What if it simply needs the opportunity to restore itself?

A promise I still carry into every formulation

I would never create a product I wouldn't feel comfortable using on my own daughter's skin.

Jigisha

That belief meant choosing restraint over speed — months spent refining, removing anything that wasn't essential, and refusing to compromise simply to launch sooner. Every ingredient has a purpose. Every product is created to support the skin, not overwhelm it.

What Re3U means

Restore. Rebalance. Revive.

Three principles that guide everything we do.

Restore

What modern life quietly takes away.

Rebalance

Skin, when it feels stressed or disrupted.

Revive

Healthy, resilient skin, through consistent care.
